Scott R. Simmons
ATTORNEY
Scott Simmons earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University and his juris doctor from Loyola University in New Orleans School of Law. Scott is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association and the bars of the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana.
He has practiced in the areas of commercial litigation, commercial and residential real estate, title examination and title insurance, real estate development and financing, class actions, personal injury and consumer representation for dangerous drugs and products.
Scott is also a Louisiana Notary Public, a Licensed Louisiana Insurance Producer. He serves on the LSU College of Humanities & Social Sciences Dean’s Advisory Council and is a member of World Wildlife Fund and Friends of New Orleans Public Library. You can probably find Scott at the City Park NOLA City Bark dog park with his dog Marcelle!

Jane Faia Mentz

With 35 years experience as an attorney practicing in a variety of roles, Jane has learned to listen to what people are saying. Many times their story may not result in, or require, legal action. However, when someone needs legal help, she can discern what they need rather quickly.
Jane focus' on her clients’ needs – first and foremost. She talks with her clients every step of the way, providing options that consider time, expense, and potential outcome. Jane's experience ranges from business sales and mergers, personal injury, foreclosure, lease negotiation, successions, wills, non-profit foundation advice, multi-district litigation, property acquisition, development and construction financing, navigating government requirements for RFPs, as well as general legal counsel for our clients.
Tricia is currently employed as a Notarial Secretary with Monarch Title, L.L.C. In her position, her duties include gathering information from purchase agreements, preparing title commitments, closing disclosures and closing documents to send to lenders.
She has more than twenty years of secretary experience in pre-closing and post-closing for real estate transactions.
She recently received her Associates Degree of Arts with Emphasis in Paralegal Studies from Tulane University School of Professional Advancement.
She enjoys spending time with family, riding bikes, gardening, rescuing cats and turtles and participating in various obstacle runs. Fun fact: She is an ACDC and KISS fan!
